to be fair it was on the cards. not many other clubs fans would have been as patient as ours. scraped through last season and struggled after spending 30m this season?!?! wonder who will be daft enough to come to us now
Any of you Mackems comment on how Whitehead's been getting on this year? Browsing one of our forums (Oxford Utd) I see he's been getting some grief?
Premier League: Keano - he's lost his job you know... After days of speculation following their 4-1 home defeat by Bolton, Roy Keane has now walked out on the mackems. Facial hair disagreements are believed to be at the centre of the dispute between the Action Man model and his smooth -chinned Chairman. An RSPCA spokesman said: "this is a great day for the canine population of the region, who need live in fear no longer". Keane is believed to be a contender for the vacant Huddersfield Town job, having shown interest in the position when he heard their nickname was The Terriers. PS: Talking himself up to anyone will listen as a candidate to take over at the stadium of plight is none other than Sam Allardyce, the currently unemployed former Toon boss and ex-mackem player.

Pretty inconsistent tbh, theres been 2 or 3 games when hes been probs our best player though cannot keep it up every game and recently has been off the pace, non existent only popping up to make a stupid mistake or give away a foul. As a championship central midfielder there isnt many better than Deano, though he lacks the genuine quality to deliver in the premiership on a regular basis. He can run all day and he tries to make up for it in energy, though his distribution and shooting let him down too often at key times.
