We’ve just about recovered from the first Keine Kunst and we’re now gearing up for the next party. For this one we’ve got Jack Archer, a Glasgow based DJ, to assume control of the decks for the night. And for those of you who didn't make it to the launch party, this is another chance for you to see the new venue in action. Jack has been running some of the best underground nights in Glasgow over the last 10 years, including Habibi and Lovebug, and is a member of the Argonaut Soundsystem collective. A record collector since his early teens, he owns one of the best record collections north of the border. You can expect the best in obscure house, Italo-boogie, afrobeat, weird and Turkish disco, New Wave and everything else you can’t quite categorise. Jack is no stranger to Newcastle’s club scene, having played at A Little Lost and Endless Race alongside the likes of such as Dom Thomas (Finders Keepers), Horse Meat Disco and Daniel Wang, as well as having contributed mixes to the legendary deepfrequency.com’s (which has included regular shows from the likes of Soft Rocks and Juju & Jordash), Subcity Radio and Slabs of the Tabernacle’s mix series. Warm-up duties courtesy of Keine Kunst resident DJs. You can listen to one of Jack's mixes here: http://www.subcity.org/shows/theshinydiscoball/6eb79/ And here's a recording of Jack warming up for Horse Meat Disco last year: https://soundcloud.com/keinekunst-1/jack-archer-endless-race Get stretching now for Keine Kunst take two.
