I might actually see about going to this, been nearly 10 years since I was last at a judgement day, used to love em
i saw marc smith at tidy play a hardcore mix of adagio for strings the breakdown sounded like the ferry mix, then came back in about 160bpm
Got a few early tapes and a quality Rezerection Equinox one from '95 compared to the mixing of some other dj's at the time he was well decent.
is there still some guy singing over the "tracks" ?? Bo bo bo, mc crew, rockin to the beat of the hardcore cru!!
Haven't listened to any of the old tapes for years but I stuck a cd on last night, after reading this thread, that's got every ReZ mix released during '95 and only a few of them have an mc actually recorded on to them. You didn't mind the mc back then though 'cos they didn't totally drown out the music like the New Monkey shit you here random 12yr olds listening to now. - MC XXX, Sneaky Eye etc....
