Jose Mourinho Jose Mourinho believes that Chelsea will get better and better - insisting that the Porto side he left were more technically proficient than his current team. Mourinho believes that he can instil greater technique into his current squad, improving on a side that are in majestic form this season. "We have better players here than the Porto squad of last year, but I was in my third year at Porto and we had a better team technically," Mourinho told The People. "They knew everything I know. They knew how to adapt, how to change from system to system. "I started matches 4-3-3, went to 4-4-2 and changed again to 4-3-3. I pressed high, blocked low. These are my phases and my players knew them all. "Porto won the Champions League in my third year. I have been at Chelsea for seven months, but my contract is for four years and by the time we arrive at the third or fourth year then I think you will see my best Chelsea team. "We still have a way to go. The beginning of the next season will be very important for us to make steps ahead. "There are things I do not want to work on now because I don't want to mix things before the players are ready on the tactical side. "You cannot jump phases. There has to be a steady progress, achieving things step by step. So Chelsea has the better players, but maybe Porto had the better team." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- So Chelsea are on par to win 4 trophies this season without the use of tactics
I can only see him winning the Premiership this season and the Carling Cup. He aint bothered about the FA Cup as he said in his own words and he will definatley not win the champions league again.
