I have known for a long time how good a DJ Askew is, have seen him many many a time slaughter the main rooms of clubs in the UK but as of late fucking hell

I sold me decks recently as people know cos i thought i was falling out the loop which i was to some extent and was basically losing interest but if Askew keeps on playing as good as he is then its safe to say am still right bang into trance and techno.

I dread to think how many days off the next time i see him will be, with a bit of luck up north ;)

I never listen to trance anymore these days though if i was going to hes the only DJ i would be interested in listening to. Totally awesome.

One of the best nights ive ever had out clubbing was when we saw him have the whole of north london cordoned off while he brayed the Gallery. It was that night which made us promise to go every month to the club, which we kept up every month until it closed in march..

Model professional as well, you would never see him spending days partying after a gig or rinsing clubbers while hes playing..

    Askew :king:

He smashed the fuck out of Tall Trees at The Ibiza Warmup last year. By far one of my favourite nights last year. Cant wait to see him again. Would be suited to a tent at Global etc me thinks

A few years ago i bought his Lower The Tone album. The seocnd disc is a live recording from the Gallery and its quite amazing!!

13 tracks of pounding non-stop trance, a mix which i was in awe of at the time, and still am.

That mix mad me a fan and hes been one of my favorite DJ's ever since. Only caught him once live at Evolve... shame he warmed up that night.

Thats what I was thinking.Hes not a trick kind of dj just tight as fuck mixing

There is a distinct sound that makes tunes stand out as discover tunes when you hear them but 90% of them are quality
