i like middlesbrough, atleast when theres rumours about them getting players they acually go through with it, not fuck over their fans talking a load of shite like what happens every year at the toon. How newcastle works, they look over premierships injury list, buy a load of crocks, train them up till their fit and sell them for half the price :king: gotta love the toon lol

Quite surprised at this tbh. 90k a week on your 2 strikers, some wage bill at the Boro this season! I hope Gibson has been doing well!

Moneys not a problem for Gibson, it never has been !

He's like what John Hall was for the toon at one point throwing all that cash in and still winning nowt - saying that Boro won the cup so its still more than Newcastle

Well good chairman is Steve Gibson - Boro have summit good there !

Any ideas what he makes his money out of?

Yeah good chairman, but surely he can't keep on bankrolling them to this sort of tune!

when i was at college i used to work at the riverside and i remember one story about gibson, asking a member of staff there not even anyone important to go pick one of his suits up from the dry cleaners, bloke was like ohh i cant sorry my wife needed the car so dropped me off at work, so gibson handed him his car keys and told him to use his

Steve Gibson is a great chairman steming from the fact he is a Boro fan first and foremost. He his held in the highest esteem by the players and the fans which was quite clearly demonstrated at the Millenium Stadium.
