    Jazz Cafe!!

    ...rocks!!!

went for the first time last thursday after years (2) of trying to get people to come!!

the band were really good as well and you get a free burger (with £3nus entrance).. it was nice and relaxing as well - just what was needed!:D

and i was speaking to the old guy who fancies rachel and he said he only liked employing long legged girls cos they dont cost any extra:lol: :king:

    Re: Jazz Cafe!!

Crombie (Jazz Cafe man) is quite a celebrity! When I was having a good chin wag with him last week during flyering he came out with some classic quotes:

When I asked him what the 'free' supper consisted of he replied
"Beef burger, chicken burger or vege burger with chips. And its not like that crap you get in McDonalds, I use REAL potatoes."

"I hardly ever flyer at Northumbria, they let anyone in there. It's full of fat Geordie women. I like my lasses to have style."

Then spots a rah girl and goes onto say

"Now thats my kind of lass. The posh one's are the ditiest you know, not repressed at all"

"I don't do specials on drink in my place. It's a sophisticated place, and anyway, my type of customer isn't bothered about what they have to pay for drinks"

"The Broon Ale I sell is proper size, it's not like those small bottles what everyone else rips you off with."

And finally, on the subject on Rachel
"She a right minx that one. I tell you what, she could have a job at my place any day. She has style, talent, finesse, she should have her own show on TV"

Plenty more on the way in the coming weeks
    :)

the ironic bit was that we could have afforded to go to RS's if we hadnt have spent 20+ quid racing rickshaws round trafalgar square
