    Japan

So it looks like i'm going to Japan for a month or so towards the end of summer.

My mate is living there for a a year teaching english.....which means free accomodation for me.

Anyway, we're gona visit loads of places of which on is Tokyo...

    Also Osaka, Kobe and Hiroshima

What's the best things to be doing in these places? What about some theme parks with masshoive jap rollercoasters?

    Clubs?

    PS - French William/Eyeball - don't bother

you should do russia then on to japan :p

you should get your rail pass before you travel as it is cheaper & get yourself a phrase book as they don't speak much if any english

yeah my mate said that about the rail pass as the bullet train is expensive

it's going to be weird ordering food and stuff...like in europe its obvious what most of the stuff on the menu is and I can speak conversational french and basic german....but Japan is going to be a massive culture shock.

It's come totally out of the blue.....but the more I look at stuff the more mint it looks.

Didn't you go to really remote mountain places and stuff?
