Re: Jambons Avatar And i remember the numerous times he kissed the Sunderland shirt/badge when he scored
Re: Re: Jambons Avatar I dont think he ever did that tbh. Unlike Hutch tho but then he got the idea when a petrol cloth was put through his mother door
he was playing really for Sunderland aswell, i guess he did put it right in your eyes yeah but do you think he might regret it ??
He was part of long line of Sunderland player of the years to be sold. Anyone who does something in life that some people think is a mistake or wrong will make you have some regerts.
Yes totally right, pisses me off how we ended up in so much shit when we recuped a lot of money in transfers from the sales of Clark 3m, Hutchinson 5m and Bridges 5m.
I remember he scored on his debut, can't remember who against! He jumped over the advertisment boards and straight into the crowd! I think he was class for sunderland! Is he still on Fulhams books ??
he's club captian at Fulham he made the step up to be a decent premeiship player, but has just had lots of injury problems, meaning hes hardly played a full season in recent years
Harper read the own mans words "The T-shirt incident is a massive regret in my career,' he says. 'But although we'd won promotion, I had already told Peter Reid, the manager, that I was thinking of moving. In hindsight, joining Sunderland was a mistake. 'A mistake because of my background. Everyone knows I'm Newcastle through and through. When I left Newcastle, the prospect of staying in the North-East, close to my family, was the big pull in going to Sunderland. But when we won promotion it dawned on me what that really meant. I would have to go to Newcastle the following season as a Sunderland player. 'I couldn't do that. Not to go there and give 100 per cent for Sunderland against the club I love and played for. And if I couldn't do that I'd have been cheating on Peter Reid, his assistant Bobby Saxton, the fans and all my team-mates. It was best that I went and Peter Reid knew how I felt before what happened at Wembley"
Lee Clark is still a solid premiership player! if he wasnt blighted by so many stupid injuries then he would deffo of been an England Player.....
