    what, on the g1 ? ive thought about rooting it before, but cant really see the benefits tbh, seems like theres a lot more extra you need to do on a g1, just for a few different roms.

    aye ive read up on it, im yet to decide if its worth it tho. unlike iphones its not reversable and can 'brick' your phone

    Haha, I was looking for my old phone on Sat morning after I slept in & didnt make it into work to see if I had any missed calls, couldn't find the fucker then remembered throwing it into the Tyne River when we were down Crispy. Haha, piece of shite

    Na, a shitty temporary one i had whilst I was waiting for my new one to come.

    - back to the jailbreaking, it looks too complicated. Will I lose all my contacts when I do it?

    no idea, you lose everything with rooting mine, gotta format the SD so back everything up to your pc

    Aye all my Contacts are saved on Outlook, I'll turn off the Automatic Sync & hopefully this should sort that out. No sure how to get them back onto the phone though, do you still use iTunes after the Sync for anything or is it all through that Cydia thing?

    - Not at you that question adam, I know you're a G1 kinda man :(
