J-Punch - Temple (CP Recordings) - OUT NOW!!

    Hi everyone,

after a very long wait, J-Punch - 'Temple' finally went on general release this week. Hope some of you will check it out!

    J-Punch - 'Temple' (CP Recordings) CPR007

Listen / Buy Here from Juno

(Air Records in Newcastle currently have 1 copy left but will order more if you ask nicely) ;)

J-Punch kicks off the package with a cool and sinister tribal affair destined to funk its way onto the dancefloor! A deep grooving bassline merges with upbeat and chunky drums, before the infectious 'You Cannot Escape' vocal hook emerges to send the track up high. Remix duties are handed to Paul Lancaster who cleverly strips back the track to reveal an uncomplicated yet powerful rework. Replacing tribal elements with a much more progressive feel keeping with the deep bassline and vocal hook but adding in mellow synths to entertain and delight. Already featured on James Zabiela's '4' compilation and with support from the following:

    DJs
Anthony Pappa - this track is destined for great things!
Hernan Cattaneo - J-Punch - Temple is great!! Top record
Chris Fortier - Loving the Tribal mix
Satoshi Tomiie - Liking the Lancaster remix
    Nicholas Bennison - Nicely done
Julien Roby - Really like the ethereal vocal and the synth strings in the background
    Moshic - I'm playing Paul Lancaster's remix!
Miguel Pellitero - Minimal and strange with a vocal inspired by the Stone Roses. Hype charted!
Steffano Greppi - Great feeling for both mixes!
Fred Numf - Vocal is huge! Tribal mix is my fave
G Pal - Great vocal, will play it for sure!
Moose (Oven Ready) - Huge for me for the last year - both mixes rock. As for the vocal, move over Dave Gahan
Open Air - 'Rocked it for us... perfect grooves for early in our set!'
    DJ Josi (K-Records) - #1 Track May 2004

    Press
    www.clubxtrem Julien Roby 4/5
Resident Advisor - 'A very good release here from CP Recordings reminding us once again how good progressive music should be made. 9/10
Progressive Sounds - 'Temple' is a fine display of what he's (J-punch) capable of and it shows the type of quality music CP Recordings likes to put out. (dj chloe - Progressive Sounds)
Release Records - Always excellent label CP returns with another awesome J-Punch production. The original tribal mix of Temple is a gorgeous combination of tribal percussion and haunting synth riffs, as well as a brilliant vocal. Paul Lancaster on the flip goes deep and minimal with a haunting Depeche Mode vibe to it. Awesome!
