give it a few hours and ya mouth will have swolen to the size of... cant think of owt, but itll knack, me sis had hers done and it took a good week to get over it like! but looks good!

yeah...when my sis got it dun she was all...well...it hurts a little bit...but 2 hrs later she cudnt say wether it hurts a little bit cos her tongue had swollen....but her boyf likes it....well dun there john

got mine done a while back, it's uncomfortably swollen for bout 5 days, not too painful. Hard to talk, especially when you're getting sacked

you should get a shorter bar after bout a week, and that feels SOOOO good, then the shortest one you can fit in without nipping

I had mine done about 3 years ago. Took me about 3-4 days to get used to it but my swelling wasn't bad at all.

Eating was a bit of a mission the first couple of days though!!! Hope you like soup

The worst thing about it is defo the swelling. My tongue was well swollen when I had mine done but went down after about 2 days. I could eat properly 2 days after but talking properly took a while! It's definately worth it. Just ask any fella who's been given a blow job by someone with a pierced tongue!

i'v ehad mine done for 4 years now, the worst bit bout it was the swelling - just take anti inflamatory pain killers 4 a few days & eat soup thru a straw & u'll b fine

I really wanted mine done at one point, they don't like them at the hospital tho & it wasn't really worth losing my job over. I more than likely would have wimped out as I'm such a pussy when it comes to pain
