DVD shrink is what you need

    http://www.dvdshrink.org/what.html

"backs up" the whole DVD to an image file on disk which you can then burn to a blank DVD with the Nero software that should have come with the DVD drive. sorted

    you need :

    1) DVD Decryptor - to backup the film to HD

    2) DVD2One or DVDShrink - to compress to fit on a 4.7g disk

    3) To burn the compilation.

if it's the one i suggested, or another Dual Layer writer - you might not need (2) ... but i've not tried 1 yet....

nar, thats the OEM version instead of 'Retail' - basically u get the bare drive, none of the other crap u hardly use - PLUS it makes it cheaper.

Here's all the software i regulary use with my DVD109 :

    Alcohol 120%
    Nero 6.6
    DVD2One
    DVD Decryptor

Covers most things - backuping up movies, PS2 titles, data backup, make DVD moive from my digital camcorder, etc...

Let me know if u need any - i'll send u a disk

Dual Layer means it can write to Dual layer disks - 8.something gig instead of the usual 4.7
