The Pride Of Britain Awards - IT IS THE BEST AWARDS CEREMONY - It is about a lot of unsung modest heroes from across the uk, from all walks of life with 1 thing in common- they have been an inspiration to othere. THERE IS NOT A DRY EYE IN THE HOUSE AT THE END OF THIS SHOW.

They only downer is Vorderman is presents the show!

I think there is a seperate one for young children sometime as well, I seen it last year and I just sat the entire night thinking how hard it must be for people to do things like that and the amount of courage it takes! I don't think I could do what these people have done!

Ur spot on, they really are the stars!

Its typical, u see a program like this and realise that there is still a lot of good people in the world then the news comes on and starts off with stories about the imminant war, reminding us of the amount of evil that still remains! :(

What a load of crap. Fair enough, the people deserved to be awarded. But all these celebs popping up to give the awards are doing nothing except trying to raise their own profile. Do you think even half of them would do it if it wasn't televised.
Call me cynical but I am!

Thats what I thought Paul McCartney that fucking C list celeb even sang happy birthday to 1 award winner and 1 award is named after his dead wife! Anything for the spotlight!

Most of the people giving out the awards were either very famous, patron of a connected charity or a hero of the award winner.

I thought 'trying to raise their own profile' implied they weren't.If not sorry

But which celebs were at these awards raising there profile?
