I'd rather be out of Europe if it were in the UEFA Cup. Does nothing for me. Champs League or nothing. The only good thing about it is the extra income

I hate the UEFA Cup. It's a pile of shit. I'd still love to win it, but that's never going to happen. You end up playing a load of utter shit teams who you've never heard of aswell. It's not for me

That was never my point though. It's just once you go to the Milan's and Barca's, the UEFA Cup just doesn't do it anymore I'm afraid. I'd rather us have an easier season (by not being in the UEFA), and having more chance of being in the Champs League

So your saying you would rather NOT play in Europe if it meant not being in the champions league?

Pretty much yeah. Obviously it brings in more money, and it's another chance to win something, but it's just a shite cup which nobody is really bothered about. It's like the Carling Cup, but at least in that you get to play the Man Utd's, Chelsea's, but that doesn't happen in the UEFA. You don't get the chance to play against the best

but aint that how it's supposed to be?

the best play against each other in champs league. then the rest battle it out in the uefa?

newcastle aint champs league material so are suited more to the uefa.

Yeah that's right. Still doesn't make it anymore attractive though. Would still love to win it, but wouldn't break my heart not to be in it

I see what your saying mind.

It's all about the "Champions" league these days. Nothing else compares.

Before long that wont even be worth being in, it'll be this daft super league they keep talking about.

Thats the day football as we know it will die.

It's just my own personal opinion. Some Newcastle fans might still lose sleep over not being in it this season or next or whatever, but I won't.

I don't ever think that will happen tbh. You see how much hassle it would be for Celtic or Rangers to come into our league, nevermind anything else!
