Surprising the number of peeps on that thread who never post anymore. Maybe its cos they are away from Uni, or just got sick of all the Randomness..... I dunno.
think its the later but I think a lot of the old randoms are class now... mind u some are still as annoying as ever
i remember the days when this site was just a laugh, and there was no wingeing about randoms, or random comments. ok, i can just about remember. at the moment i feel there is a lot of bad vibes about the board, maybe some of out most frequent posters have buggered off, but this in turn has atracted a lot of new members since i first seen it, i just think it is down to the everchanging ever evolving people in promise and people that are using the board. anyone agree??? or should the randoms just FUCK OFF AND DIE IN A SNAKE PIT????
I personally don't think its random at all, I think its different circles of friends trying to talk on the same message board... Theres personality clashes to start with but after a couple of months they soon realise who's boss I think I get along with most the randoms now... cept the rookies - they don't half get on me tits
I don't think the board is getting worse, it's staying about the same. There is still lots of good stuff to read each day and we are still getting more and more posts each month. Mebs we all need to have a big group hug?

hmmmmmmm, think I've noticed a pattern here...... the newbies are random as fukk to start with, think it's all ded funny till the veterans, who have become all grown up and sensible, get pissed off with them and stomp on them from a great height until the newbies get all sensible as well...... give it a few months til a whole new bunch of newbies have joined and the cycle repeats, but this time its the ppl who where newbies a few months ago stomping on the new newbies for being random as fukk....... there's nowt wrong with randomness IMHO, but all good things in moderation, same goes for being all serious and sensible
nah I dont really think so........ public flogging in Promise on a friday nite for the worst offenders that week would be a bit harsh......... but always an option
I agree, it does seem to go up and down!!! Everyone seems to push there personality (or in some cases the one they think they should have) when they first join the board but they soon adapt to get on with everyone! I don't think the public bollockings which have been taking place are the answer tho, a quiet word in the ear from the mods might be a better starting place!!! Remember, I ain't been on for a while so all of the above could be shite!!!
