Following on from the staggering success of the ISSST NYE secret warehouse party, it’s time for the first Kult of ISSST warehouse party to surface. ISSST NYE was the only place to be as we entered 2007 and marked ISSST parties out as events of quality, innovation and downright hedonism. As the dust settled, so The Kult of ISSST emerged from its subterranean lair to present a series of infrequent, underground and extraordinary parties. For each Kult of ISSST we’ll be seizing the most interesting and unimaginable sites, transforming them into the perfect acid house playground and bringing in the finest electro[nic] practitioners from across the globe.

The first Kult of ISSST party will be staged on Easter Saturday, April 7th to continue our penchant for hijacking special occasions and Trevor Jackson, Phones, Fuckpony and Franz & Shape have been drafted in to join ISSST residents Bobby M and Kevin Griffiths in orchestrating the inaugural Kult of ISSST night of warehouse depravity. Expect two unique spaces with Funktion 1 sound throughout, a supporting cast of some of London’s best young underground DJs and the same production values that helped make ISSST NYE such a triumph.

Just as ISSST NYE broke the mould and drew support from club kids and music heads alike, so The Kult of ISSST will do the same and more:-

TREVOR JACKSON: Musical maverick, electronic pioneer and DJ extraordinaire, Trevor Jackson is all this and more. Think Playgroup, Underdog, Output Recordings… need we say more. Trevor will be taking a break from his punishing studio schedule to get back behind the decks for a rare London appearance and he’s threatening to tear the walls down.

PHONES: Paul ‘Phones’ Epworth is a much respected indie/rock producer and remixer by day (Bloc Party, Futureheads, Maximo Park, White Rose Movement) and a dirty electro DJ by night. Expect a no-nonsense mash-up of all things dancefloor.

FUCKPONY: Fuckpony is the latest project from US producer Jay Haze (Justin McNulty), now based in Berlin, and his Swiss collaborator Samim Winiger. They’re an essential part of the Get Physical crew as well as Berlin’s more avant-garde Tuning Spork imprint, and will be playing their stripped back, quirky techno grooves live on stage.

FRANZ & SHAPE: The Italian duo of Francesco Spazzoli and Chris Shape have been making friends and influencing people with their synth-driven live shows and productions on Headman/Manhead’s Relish Recordings who have just released their debut album, ‘Acceleration’. These guys are going to rock, trust us.

Joining them will be ISSST residents BOBBY M and KEVIN GRIFFITHS who are no slouches behind the decks themselves, of course, and look out for their second compilation album coming out soon.

Our residents will be backed up by some of the finest talent from the burgeoning underground scene too in the form of Audiojackers (Jack Digitals), Filth & Splendour (R U Dirty?), Audiodice (Funk Deluxe), Rory McArt vs Frantik Dan (Funk Deluxe) and last, but by no means least, the impressive Lost Souls talent of Antony Difrancesco and Dario Burelli.

With this kind of line-up the scene is set for The Kult of ISSST to shake things up and give London the kind of party it’s crying out for. It deserves nothing less (look out for another of the legendary ISSST after parties too.)

Join The Kult of ISSST …before The Kult joins you.
