Thats gonna be a mint night, never heard O'Bir but have heard good things. Fergie has always played well when I have seen him so I am looking forward to that too!

Don't listen to everything u here! He played Promise a few weeks before the last Tidy (and Gods at the arena IIRC) and I didn't rate him there but when he was at Tidy his mixing was good and he played some excellent tunes, most of which he hadn't played @ Promise or Gods!

Thing is, there must be something about him cos people like him and he gets booked quite a bit. This is some achievement for a man who never gets washed!!!

Last two times i heard him (Hull and Gods) he played wicked sets tune selection was class! He played some of the same tunes but they are the classics wich always get the crowd goin (overdrive, arome - hands up, S........ wich are all his tunes anyway so its kind of expected!!) His mixing..... i think is fine! I didnt hear one cock up at hull or Gods (As far as i can remember :D )

he cut the bass outa half off them
  18. Guest

aye but that dont help mix that much!
the end of the day wether bass is cut or not its down to gettin them at the right speed and beatmatching if u cut the bass it doesnt help all that much,

    IMO

BUT im no DJ so what do i know lol

What is it about Scott Project, why does he get so much stick?

I've saw him a few times and he's played a good set, in fact a real good set. I can't remember his precise mixing quality, but there were no obvious failings. Plus, the Guy's got a presence. I like to see a DJ get involved with the crowd.
