    declining post counts
    lack of interestng threads
    cliques and lack of purpose putting new members off
    inability to pay for itself

    I'd give it another 6 months tops

    We have one of these threads every 6 months, the same argument happens then it carries on.

    It has peaks and troughs just like life.

    This past week it has been shit/quiet though i agree.

    promise always acted as a recruiting agent for new members.... theres nothing to encourage new people to join and the odd person that strays on gets ripped to fuck off eyeball and frenchie.

    Mark always paid for the board as it brought promise more fame than the club .... finaces weren't an issue..

    No ones got anything to say anymore so they result to ripping the inferior or idol worship.

    If Jess C left the boards membershsip would half overnight.

    I agree with Joe (swoon).

    There are no doubt some very interesting, and intelligent people on here ..... but you can TELL that they are not posting because of.

    - People swearing like sailors in every post, topic and even in their nicknames and making the place look like an internet version of the bigg market.

    - Too much in-talking and threads that go off topic.

    - Pointless threads posted by muppets who think spouting a load of random rubbish is the height of originality.

    - Decent threads NOT being posted because of the fear of getting them lost amongst shit threads, or having some clown post something like "Eeeeh ah divvent knaaa what your on about like - neebody cares man" in a decent thread.



    This forum needs some decent moderators. FAST.

    I'd ban all threads with swearing in the topic....

    Prevent all nickames with swearing in them ....

    Give warnings on offensive and racist remarks and issue 1 week bans for anyone who goes against that ...

    Delete pointless random topics that add nothing to the forum...


    Any mod who had that policy would get my support.

    The best forums on the internet all do that - I suppose ill get shot down with comments about being overly serious ... but its probably the only way to save this sinking ship.

    not everyone comes on here to discuss politics, most people come on for a laugh and a bit of banter. this is a general cubbing forum with a couple of threads for random crack its not topic specific.

    theres absolutely no point in banning/deleting threads which you deem not board worthy, because quite frankly it would takesmost of the humour out of the board

    nah, i agree with the rest though, i know i am guilty of being a bit nasty sometimes, but i am no worse than most people on here

    there's not enough intelligent people on here for every post to be good- they are in a minority- most people are happy to talk about rimming, ket and who they wank over

    We've had our second busiest day ever this month.

    I think that is your taste changing.

    Agreed, that was always going to be the case post Promise.

    Because we run quite a few boards the cost these days are minimal, it's not an issue.

    I will close this site sooner or later, be it in 6 hours, days, months or decades I don't know. When the average postcount drops below a point I've set for a month I will shut the board, we are nowhere near that point, the trend is actually upwards over the past quarter.
