Is my iPod broken? I had it out at a party on Saturday night and all I used it for is showing people videos but later on I couldn't switch it off so the battery just died out. I'm charging it now but it won't turn on :s It's showing a battery bar in the middle of the screen with a zig-zag/lightning over it. Whats the crack? My iPod won't respond to button presses I never dropped it or spilt anything over it either. Edit: The normal 'do not connect' screen is on now but I'm still not getting anywhere because even though it's connected, itunes isn't detecting it
Yeah I think with mine if that happens you haveto put it on hold, then take it off hold and press the centre button, which re-sets it. Hope it's ok!
Mine did that when I completely flattened the battery. Once it gets enough charge itunes should detect it on it's own, if it doesn't just try resetting it or unplugging it from your PC
ok cheers I'm not too impressed that it decided to stop detecting any button presses in the first place though :evil: I had to sit on the fucking bus for 40 minutes with nothing to listen to and a really bad head
