nah he knew exactly what he was doing, looking out for his pocket, he would have known well before last night that souness was going, he just didn't wanna get a new manager in that would want to spend money, hense a caretaker manager and big al, its not looking god if you ask me
He didn't know what he was doing, this is all just a knee jerk reaction. He should have done one of two things: a) Sacked him before january and then whoever came in would have been able to buy/sell as needed or b) Held onto him till the end of the season and then ditched him, picking up a decent manager who wouldn't be tied down to a club to replace him. As things stand now it's quite possible we won't get a decent replacement, we may not even end up with one at all until the summer. This doesn't help with where we are in the table...
nah i reckon he knew what he was doing business wise, maybe not football wise though, he knew bringing a new manager in during the Jan window meant money, something we aparently don't have, we can't sell what we dont have half the players were injured so who'd buy them?
Well, have just posted my application for the job, CV enclosed. Got a good feeling about this, it's a bit of a change in direction for my career but i think I'll make a success of it. Fingers crossed. Just waiting to hear from Freddy now.
