is it possible to join a short sat cable to another i need to extend my sat cable due (the one that comnes from the dish to the back of the box) to repostioning of t.v can i join it to a extended cable somehow or do i need to get the ladders oot
Best off getting the ladders oot m8 cos trying to extend sat cable could end up in a loss of signal quality if you dont get it spot on !!
if you put any connections on it will affect the quality. i work for sky and we get people all the time calling up saying theve fitted extensions to the cables and the quality has went crystal clear to a fuzzy kind of picture. sky will send someone out for you if your in warranty free to move the dish wherever you want. if not 65quid. can always go to an electrical store and buy the cable yourself as its not that expensive.
