I think a lot of it is due to the fact by end may/june, most students are skint... and only finally find money again come july when they start workin over summer... I know not all of u are students, but i think this has a lot to do with it!!

techno will be like prog (i hope), and die away before it becomes to popular and nearly kills every good club.
    long live trance.

i reckon the only ones who were in any real trouble 2 begin with were the superclubs. all the lesser known clubs (goodgreef, garlands, promise etc.) had nothin 2 worry bowt cos theyve all developed a closely knit crowd of followers :)

i dont think clubland as a whole has had a 'worst'. i think its only crasher that has been goin downhill. cream is meant to b back 2 its best, ibiza is meant to b red hot this year and places like promise, GG etc have been ever increasing in popularity. i think clubland will b around 4 ages, its only crasher that probably wont.

You think? The White night was rammed apparently and the August bank holiday and September line-ups look out of this world and their Heaven line-ups look pretty special too :) Seems to me that GC is doing exactly what they did this time last year, reverting back to what MADE Gatecrasher..............TRANCE, no other kind of trance (Hard, Prog whatever) and it seems to be winning back the punters :):):):) Personally I think if GC opened up, which they dont want to, and had line-ups similiar to what they are having now, with no erm crap like DUmonde etc, then it would be rammed every week again!!!!

For the most sensible view of events I have read so far on this matter I would say visit none other than John '00' Flemings site and go to his diary section where he has his tuppence worth....makes very good reading and makes so much sense :)

At the end of the day it all falls down to the way music is gradully getting more advanced and getting more uplifting and just taking us to new peaks but with this new charva trance really makin a breakthrough it is destroying the mauinstream clubland like the crasher and creams because of this new hardcore trance although i have no complaints about it some of it is quite catchie and some of it brings bak a few memorys it is still is throwing the younger generation away from the main trance and proggy,hh, and other big club styles which are falling because of the chart trance tunes. The younger generation or to put it into another aspect our woodbe succesors to be followers in the club scene are slowly being pulled away from the big clubs due to the exposure to illegal substances and also being taken towards this new trance as it is good clean happy music that people can go out get "pissed",pull go home get laid then go to school haha. The other side of it is go to a club get "pissed" go fukin mental go bak to party stop out all night and all day go to work earn money do it all again over and over. There is two types of clubland the go out get pissed ikon charva trance scene. And there is our side the go out go fukin mental stay out all night. And im sorry ours is far far far far better and if trance, proggy,hh keep evolving the way they r where in for a big fukin treat in the years to come.

charver trance as you call it does do some good though, it gets the kids into it!!you gotta start somewhere dont ya!!it will lead to more getting into the proper clubs!!

it stops them all becoming mini papa roaches which they all seem to do nowadays!!its wierd that the majority try so hard to be 'different' when everyone does it anyway, so they all end up the same!!

    and lasgo/ian van dahl are class!!:D :D :D
