    There\'s a bit extra motivation in running a marathon and helping people in need than going to the shops for a pint of milk and a paper.

    You really should do it, or something like the gGreat North Run, it hurts like hell but the sense of achievement and helping others is worth it.

    It will be my first London Marathon and hopefully not the last!

    i'm all for charity etc..but running 24 miles bugger that

    i can think of loads more ways to raise money which would hurt alot less

    isn't it 26 miles?? Good luck though, i'm doing race for life but its no where near the marathon length at all!


    I still can't get over that paula radcliffe pooed by the side of the road! :eek: :lol:
