iRiver H120/140 crew...... Check out www.rockbox.org There's new, alternative firmware under development there, and its absolutely class - not due for final release till september sometime, but you can get the unreleased versions there. It gives you loads more options than the iriver one, including crossfading, OTF playlists, and, gasp, gapless playback (of Ogg Vorbis files), and some MP3's. High recommended
i've got a h10, the firmware is cack, wrong tracks appear under the wrong menus - ie. artist displays albums... albums displays all tracks..
I think the rockbox lot are planning to extend it to other iriver players in the future, so you could be in luck H300 series first probably, then see what happens after.....should be much easier to port it to other players, they just started from scratch with the H100 firmware - I'll keep an eye out for you fella By the way - you have checked the iriver site for firmware updates yeah?
It's a fucking novelty listening to gapless OGG CD's I can tell you mate You managed to get it installed OK? Took me ages to figure it out, but VERY glad I did The irivers are pissing on the pods from an even greater height now
didnt download it yet Means i will have to rerip all 47 of my Fabric Cd's though as they are one file mixes at the moment
