just bought one of these on t'bay... about £115, apparently i've gotta pay by postal order or bankers draft, to germany - but the blokes feedback rating is good, so should be ok (i figure)...

but i only bought it cos it seemed cheap and had about 3 seconds left on the auction...

anyone know much about them? worth having, or utter dog knob?

Also - anyone know what the crack is with sending postal orders to germany? seems awfully bloody awkward to me, couldnt they just have used paypal :spangled: eesh.

i'm sure i saw this scam on a gadget show or something.... check out WHEN he got all his ratings... if they're all on the same day - he's bought loads of ratings from dodgy sources... and they can't get paypal accounts so they're not traced...

it looks well dodgy to me... lucky enough no payment has been arranged - so emailed ebay and just not gonna pay

it seems he has never sold anything like that before either - pc bits and bobs, ink cartridges, etc etc

why someone would sell an ipod of that standard for that amount is beyone me. maybe it was broken or something? was the advert in english?

yeah, thats what i figure. has been reported anyway, and i sure as hell aint sending no postal orders over, so they aint getting anythin out of me... scamming twats, hope they know after bagging that auction i proceeded to tell my lass i had got her a 'fantastic' gift and that i am now going to have to back up this claim at more 'normal' (see £££££££££££££££££££) prices.

I'vah d loads of bother with ebay like this lately- won auctions for 3 gfx cards for my pc and every one has been a scam. Put me right off..

Thats why they don't use paypal - they can be tracked AND you can claim your money back if it's fraud. Postal order is better than a cheque as it's just like cash
