Try resetting it mate - do you have one with a click wheel?

Hold in menu, and press the centre button with menu still held in.

    Is it still not working?

    Have you tried resetting it?

    Try:

Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

Press and hold the Play/Pause(Select button on a mini) and Menu buttons until the Apple/iPod logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds.

That should clear it if not you could restore it to factory settings (but you'll lose all your tunes on it...)

Is yours a mini? Something shouldn't break like that after 3 days though, or even worse, 3 hours!

I'm so glad i never bought an an iPod and went for the iRiver instead. iPods just sound like so much hassle, theyre just a name and a fashion thing in my opinion

iPods are good for people who just wanna play music only.
But irivers can do all that and more such as recording MP3s from ya decks etc , playin vids and using as a portable HD
