    hello..im on broadband..does my ip address stay the same or change everytime i log out and in?

    depends whether or not your isp issued you with a static or dynamic ip address.

    try this

    start > run >type in "cmd" press enter > in the black window type "ipconfig" press enter > Should tell you what it is next to "ip address......."

    write it down disconnet your broadbean then try it again

    Services like BT/Tiscali/Wannadoo tend to be dynamic.

    I think NTL/Telewest provide a static address.
