We are taking a look back over the past 7 years to see what has truly rocked and defined Invasion, inviting back some old friends whilst freshening it up in true Invasion style. The line up is continuously growing and no doubt will continue to evolve right up until the night! But as this is our last event of the year, and with myself tied up in a Physics lab we really don’t know when the following Invasion will be, so we just had to tell you ASAP to make sure you know about this such important event! Confirmed so far is electro, tech trance, bosh, red snapper, Invasion Ibiza wizard K90! Sandwiched in between his tour of Europe, South America, Australia and New Zealand he will be launching his brand new artist album CRASH his first album for four years, in sunny old Shrewsbury! K90’s appearances always rocked the joint and holds a special place in his and our hearts! Other blasts from the past include the return of Welly and 2004 Invasion DJ competition champion Ross McAbe, Funked up legends The FUNKT BROS, Invasion Ibiza resident Russ Edwards, as well as all your favourite usual suspects. But what is the good of a reunion unless you invite all of the brands associated with Invasion to come along for the party! So we have! There will be four rooms of music, joint hosted by brands from over the years including Detached, Funked Up, Traffic, Fuzzy Logic, ICS, Essence, Mad Cow, System Shock to name just a few, and remember the list just keeps growing as will the line up! Adding to the flavour we are introducing two new rooms, Techno Belly (exactly what it says on the tin) and INVASION’s Mixtape a new room in which anything goes, musically and mentally! But as a true homage to Invasion of old we shall be returning to our FRIDAY night slot – be it as a 4 ROOM allnighter!!!!! This event is going to be BIG, our last for a while and definitely not to be missed!!!!!!!!! It evolved from free parties in the forests to a back room of a club and over the years it has grown to officially come the busiest night in Shropshire. In 2006 Invasion held regular parties over in the capital of clubland, Ibiza. Which included 2 nights at one of the worlds super clubs EDEN! Still holding onto its roots Invasion has still been throwing free parties in the hills and forests of Wales.
