Intershit Exporer I have COMPLETELY COMPLETELY fucked IE up on my laptop. I mean I have tried a clean install of it and it just says "windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have appropriate permissons to access the file" I remember fucking it up on everything - so all my links, all my msn things, all everything ever opened in mozilla. I got a bit fed up of it, and just deleted and cancelled IE on my firewall, fucked it over, just completely wankered it on everything, gave it no permissions or anything.. Now I realise I was hasty in doing this and I need it to update my pooter. By, I really did a good job of fucking it up like. I have kerio and i allowed it on there, but cant think of what else I have obliterated it on. I really HAVE fucked it over. I thought a clean install would sort it especially as I have not had IE7 on my pooter before. oh my.
Hmm, i tried that, still nothing. Nada. Zilch. To be honest for about a year I just said no to everything my firewall asked me about IE.
i'd re-installed IE (get version 7 from the microsoft site) then take Kerio off and re-install it - see if it re-asks you to set the permissions
