Internet Explorer error??? About once every hour or so i get an error saying 'This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down' I dont know much about this shit and it is pissing me off!!!!!! Does any1 know how to get rid of this???? Please help
Re: Internet Explorer error??? Cud be one of many things mate..... Mebbe worth doin a full virus scan tho.......make sure u update virus definitions first tho... Cud also be worth getting latest version of IE from microsoft.com...... assuming u dont have lkatest ver....

yeah try re-installing or updating IE, otherwise like mr sleepy said re-installing windows is the best way.
I did the reinstall windows thing and it cleared the problem for amount 30 secs before it fooked again. I later upgraded to xp and IE whatever we are up to now and it was all sorted.
Might be a memory allocation error causing you jip. Dodgy stick of memory. You could try running PC diag software. Old one I used was Checkit. Anything that does a thorough check of each memory address. Only other way to be sure it's not software related is to repartition, reformat and reinstall Windows.
