To be honest Im surprised he has lasted so long

Had it been Newcastle, theyd have gone through 2 premiership managers, 1 championship, 2 retired footballers and Peter Reed

At what price does this chance come at though...relegation?

Im all for time etc... but if your confident enough to step up & manage a top flight club in one of the best Leagues in the world then you should need to recognise the fact you need results & must have the right credentials behind you.

Ince wasn't ready for this job imo, it was only 2 years ago he was a player/coach at Macclesfield & didn't do too great there, he's only had any real success at MK dons, then straight into the Premiership?

I agree, you could tell by the reaction he got from his players that he didn't have the dressing room, when you look at the football blackburn were playin last season under hughes it was always going to be a lot of pressure to a manager with no top flight experience coming in and pickin up where he left off.

Not sure about anyone else but i was amazed they took him on in the first place, their fans must have been gutted so what must the players have thought?

17 games is as much time as you're going to get with the current situation in the Premiership. It's too costly to go down these days, clubs just can't recover.

All that aside, I just can't see Blackburn staying up. They're going to have to appoint someone quickly, and they're hardly the most attractive club to manage. For me they're certainties for the drop, along with West Brom.

    Good riddance.

Would it be too much to wish Hughes to get sacked and come back?

I think the transfer window will cripple them, santa cruz is as good as gone and hopefully warnock comes to us.

You don't wanna lose a goal scorer like santa cruz in a crisis situation like theirs.

Were not out of the woods yet but Cruz plays a lot more than Owen.

I'd love Owen to stay but I think he'll go.

Kinnear's came out & said if he chose to leave he wouldn't let him go until summer time.

Only teams I could see actually benefiting from him would be Man City, even them are at risk this season... ?
