ok imo for in ear headphones, u have a few choices :

    Sennheiser MX500

    Sony REX81 Fontopia

Both of those are excellent for the money. The Sony's will have more noise cancellation on them but all depends on wot u use ur headphones for. I mean i just use mine generally when im walking round town and i prefer to hear what is going on around me as i dont want to get run over lol! But if u only use them when at the gym or at work, things like that then maybe the sony's will offer you better sound.

Now if u really want to splash out then check these out :

    Shure E2c

    Shure E3c

    Shure E5c

they are the daddies when it comes to in ear headphones. Sound quality is excellent on all of them. Be warned u cant hear fuck all with them in though and u have to buy new cover things for them that go in ur ear like below :

    Shure E2c Covers

As far as in ear headphones go those are the only ones i would really consider buying.

N.B. Dabs isnt necessarily cheapest place to get them from, was just where i decided to link from (thought they will be pretty competative prices there), id also check Amazon, Unbeatable.co.uk, & Empire-direct.co.uk

    hope that helps!

edit : on a quick scan empire-direct seem to be pretty cheap.

You've probably just been lucky. They are well known to be shit like, poor quality at high volume, and often break.

Had countless amounts returned when i was working at dixons!

    I have THESE

Very good, highly reccomended. Cheap too
