    important - you should read this!

    Got a brief at work yesterday saying to watch out cos a lady had gone into a cinema and sat down to feel something stab her, when she turned round to see what it was there was a needle on her chair and i note saying "you have been infected with HIV". The needle was tested and was found to have the virus. There are some sick people out there - this only happened recently and it was in the NE so tell your family and friends to watch out!

    i first heard this kind of story when i was a young'un and my mates dad was a doorman at ikon (back in the day of the under 18 foam partys!) but its still scary and i will always have it in the back of my mind though :eek:

    It's an urban myth - I'd not heard it until last week and I got duped by it too :dunce:

    The truth is that HIV can't live outside of the human body for more than a few minutes, meaning that cross-contamination of this sort is highly unlikely to happen :)

    I heard that lmao im embarrassed I beleived it now...a story that a girl slept with a man off holiday and didnt use anything and he gave her a present and went dont open it till ur home and when she did it was a dead rat with a note sayign youve got HIV now
