    Ask your mother!
If promise were a football club?

Who would they be and why?

    I recon:

GC - Man U, because you love to hate them but you have got to admit they are good!

Cream - Liverpool, were very good but have fucked everything up!

GK - Chelsea good but not the best!

Sunny D - Arsenal, fast and exciting!

Promise - ? I cant think of anything!!!

Promise - Rangers/Celtic............. pisses on everything in its league and can sometimes pull it off against the big guns.

Deffo on its way up, probably be Newcastle next, matches the big teams nearly every week, then occasionally top of the pile

    Drew,

I was listening to Dyer & Bellamy speaking at the weekend about the title race and they both said
'Were a big club but nobody mentions us for the title they talk about Man U,Liverpool,Chelsea & Arsenal.' So PROMISE would have to be Newcastle United a big club that is not recognised by the rest of the UK because of its strong local identity.

Burnley = Sugar Shack (GOOD IN THE OLD DAYS)
Sunderland = Ikon (CHEAP AS CHIPS TO GET IN BUT APART FROM THAT YOU ASK YOURSELF WHY!!)
Sheff Wed = S& M Club (IT IS SO PAINFUL) this one is for Mark.
Charlton = Shindig( RAN PROPER , DONT MAKE WAVES LIKE THE BIG BOYS, BUT ALWAYS GETS A GOOD CROWD)

You don't class Celtic and Rangers as the same club!!!!!

Not even in the same 'league'. Rangers are crap and should all be shot, Celtic are good and shouldn;t. Not hard to tell the difference!

Course i dont class them as the same. I just put them both cos they are so far ahead of the rest in Scotland, just like Promise is ahead of other clubs in its league, sorta 1st division behind the premier league of superclubs.
