Ive just came back and I warn you, take plenty of money. It aint cheap Ive been working solid since I got back to pay of debts I accumulated out there. However I did have to pay a rather hefty sum to the hospital after falling a bit 'ill' after over-boshing it a little, but ill not go into that too much....:spangled:

Its fooking wicked though and Eden is such an amazing club I love it so much. I also reccomend going to Mambo to watch the sunset, pure bliss :chill:

they have loads of radars and stuff to make sure the planes dont hit nefin. you could actually fly a plane wivout needin to c where ur goin(apart from landin).

Actually you can land a plane without having to see anything either! Its called ILS (instrument landing system)

planes have FLIR (forward looking infrared radar or something) which detects terrain and stuff miles ahead of them, so you shouldnt really hit anything...
also the engines are tested for bird strikes (i watched something on discovery where they were doing this.. basically threw dead chickens at the engine lol...)
planes use a system called ILS to land, the plane flies itself down an imaginary line to the runway.... apparently pilots only land one in 3 flights, and thats only through boredom...

they use VORs aswell. u set ur plane to a frequency it gives off and the plane follows it(pretty much)

or its OVR or summin like that......

Na mate, a VOR is a navigation aid.

Every VOR has a seperate frequency, you set the heading you want to fly from or to that VOR (e.g. 90 degrees) and when the needle is in the centre you're dead on track !



NDB is a Non-Directional Beacon, and unless your instruments are REALLY REALLY old, not many people use them these days !
