I-pod help...... I've had my mini pod for a couple of months and never had any problems without it till now......I paused a track yesterday while taking a phone call and now it won't switch back on. The screen is blank no matter what I press, when I plug it into PC/Mac/wall charger nothing at all happens......any ideas, is there anyway of re-setting it??
you know the problems i had with my ipods! leave it till it totally runs our of battery, then try plugging it in. the only way to re-set it is by using the software u get. so try that? if not, its broke like mine did....
When i plug into PC or Mac it doesn't pick it up like it would normally so I can't reset it via the software.
mine did that. One of mine also totally froze, with the Hard disc still spinning. Its carried on spinning for about 8 hours, then over-heated and broke. my mini has been ok so far...only had it 3 weeks tho.
Ok, I'll leave it for a couple of days for the battery to die, then try to plug it in on Sunday night, see if it has any life in it then!
not the same but to do with ipods i need the instructions of how to use an ipod (not mini) in english please?
my Ipod 'died' once and nothing would bring it back.... Till i found out about the reset function, which was to hold in the middle two buttons for about 5-10 seconds then the whole thing reboots/resets itself. The ipod mini is different but there might be something similar with holding in buttons... give it a try perhaps.
may be a stupid q but have you tried to reset it? hold down either the middle button and menu or the middle button and play for a few seconds until you see the apple... after a min or so it should be fine happened to me a few weeks back an i shat myself thinking i'd have to send it back or something
