    HTML emails...?

    How do you write an email so that an image that is hosted online automatically loads up in the email....

    step by step please I am a PC simpleton :dunce:

    if the format of the email u are writing is pre-defined to send as html just stick this somewhere..

    [url]http://whatever.com/image.jpg[/url] [/IMG}

    (note (remove the } and replace with a ] )

    Just tried this and the image doesn't load it just sends the link, any ideas..?

    I think Mr Sleepy might have made a mistake there...

    ....what you should do is :

    <img src="www.yourimageaddress.com/image.jpeg"]

    Note - ] needs to be replaced with a >, and you need to keep to that syntax (use the quotes and no spaces with the =)

    Download dreamweaver and use that to set out the email.
