You want to be either a bailif or in the police?

Are you actually trying to find a job that pays you for wrecking peoples lives?

Are you or have you ever been a member of the BNP or similar organisation whose constitution, aims, objectives or pronouncements may contradict the duty to promote race equality?

go on the Police website it tells you all the places in the country that are recruiting. I wanted to be in the police so have looked into it quite a bit.

They do a personal development scheme as well where you can study and fast track yourself up the hierarchy as well

    Re: how

You could check your local councils website? They generally post a list of vacancies. At least with working for a council, although the money isn't brilliant, you know that your job is fairly secure (depending upon the position you apply for) plus their pension plans are very good. You usually get other perks too such as flexible working hours.

Is it always going to pay well though? Isn't the reason it's such good pay right now because there's a high demand for plumbers?

Come back in ten years things might have totally changed. I know most courses are full in colleges now.

    Re: how

A lad I know tried to get into the police a year or so back, they don't just "let" people in you spaz. Hes still doing voluntary work to get accepted. Keep in mind he has a clean record, no BNP/NF bumper stickers and actually has more than a Year 7 education.
