How lucky are we...

Was in London over the weekend to see Lee foster play his debue at Peach at the Camedon palace,

It suddenly dawned on me how lucky we are to have a local night as good as Promise.

Although we all had a good time, and the music was well class!!!
(Well whilst Lee was on anyway)...the club itself was not to pleasent.
We need start realising what we have got in the way of music,djs,lights,etc and start ramming the place again!

Camden Palace aint famous for a quality crowd though.

although the venue is superb

Thats what i am talking about. The club was not nearly as good as foundation

I haven't been in a long time but I cna't imagine it changing that much.

I miles prefer camden as a venue to foundation - theres so many places to explore - nothing beats looking down from the highest blacony

There used to eb quality hard house nights on there - don't know if there still is.

Dog was it decorated like it is for hha and timeless?

One thing thats really pissing me off about clubbing now is every1 constantly complaining about charva's/beerboys/etc. Half the try hards at sundis are charvas in a different outfit, half the cool cats at shindig are charva's who get their haircut at toni and guy....

How was the crowd so bad? were there fights, were they sweating too much, were they dancing too hard and not posig enough?

(and the promise crowd is seen as one of the friendliest most varied crowds in UK clubbing - where you draw your assumptions from I don't know)

That would depend on your interpretation of 'quality'. Promise is known for having a very 'up for it' crowd.

but its all nice comparing promise to one venue in London, but then theres places like Heaven, The Fridge and The Academy, which are outstanding for layout, sound, decor etc.

my ideal set up would be to have all the promise peeps and crowd, and stick them in one of them venues, that would be amazing! The London crowd is made up of loads of "tourists" which aint a bad thing, it creates the atmosphere with the club being so full, but its not the same.

I have been to some massive nights and A LOT of different clubs in my time, I must say Promise is one of the best...

Promise has a quality crowd.
