 did he not direct you to the nearest doctors, or hospital? I would have if a western girl came up to me and started doing a "cat with flees" performance.

theyre pretty used to us now...they have even stopped trying to rip us off lol...it was great for practising drama skills though! Now he just lets me behind the counter to help myself and he always tries to persuade me that i need more toilet roll hehe

im trying to think of other stuff ive asked for...i wanted a tub of hair wax so i was showing him hairspray and a candle...that wasn't one of my better ones lol.

pasta was a puzzler, they kept bringing us balls of string? lol

sheesh as if i would be a sterotypical brit abroad! 'm actually taking lessons in one of indias million languages...mahrati...reading writing and speaking, its like learning chinese, muchos confusing but it looks pretty anyway!

yeah i didnt think of hairwax in my 8 ounces, duur! i was thinking i would get better stuff if i left it as suprises  ive asked for some in my birthday present off gareth though (but being a guy he will probably get it wrong...or send me the dax wax that i left in his bathroom from when i had short spiky-ish hair)

good on ya learning the languages! It makes such a pleasent change to locals when u even try half arsed to speak their lingo, met this lad in India, who'd taken it upon himself to learn ladakhi, damn, theres probably only 10 000 or so people (thats a pure guess) that speak that language in India, and this german feller was having a full on convo with the guest house owner, i was in awe... :) Have you met any Isrealis out there, not the ones out there for learning the culture, but the groups of them who ve just finished military service, who seem to hove no respect for local culture, stuff like that really pisses me off.

Very jealous of u helz, but got my tix to s africa thru today, so all is not lost:) and at least the language wont be a problem

to be quite honest it was much more pleasant than orphan poo! hence why i'm appealing to baby companies for proper nappies!

got a mahrati lesson today...havn't done my homework, oops! then after my mahrati lesson i have an english lesson (me the teacher obviously) then a lesson in proffesional arabic henna (me the student again)

we have chickens to poo on me now...i asked for some pet birds to put in the birdcage in the garden and they filled it with chickens...they smell! especially when theyre fed papaya and not corn they made squishy eggs this morning but our cook refuses to understand that chickens need to eat hard stuff to make their eggs hard

on the subject of poo...we went to a natural remedy place the other day to check out a pampering day for my birthday with massages and spa baths...we were gonna test some of the treatments and one girl got mixed up and nearly got a colonic irrigation instead of a mud bath haha...this is why learning the language is helpful
