How dya get chewin gum off clothes?

Had a great nite last nite but theres always something to take the shine off a bit isnt there?

Just noticed that some dickhead has dropped their chewin gum and its stuck to me trouser leg. Dont think i sat on it cos its too low down. To top it off i only bought the trousers on Friday.

Ive picked off what i could cos it had gone reasonably hard. But does anyone know a good way for getting chewin gum outta your clothes? I think its impossible! Someone prove me wrong please with a great suiggestion. :monkey: :monkey:

it depends on the material...and usually freezing only works if u havnt picked most of it off

tiny little bits are really impossible to get off

i got a wikid jumper once and it still has horrible grey marks off chewy on it after the first time i wore it in insomz (a jumper in insomz yeah...exactly??)

How many fuckin times have i sat on chewing gum???!!! best thing i found was to wet the area round gum with water first too, that way the material around freezes and it comes off easier

freeze the trousers first, then scrape off, if still there use liquid lighter fluid to remove, tough bits of chewing gum. test the lighter fluid on a hem or bit of material on the trousers that aint noticeable to see if the fluid stains the material. Be careful, use the fluid only as a last resort. Hope u get the stickyness out of ur pants:D

I dont think i have cos the material is quite shiny ish, so it still seems to be on the surface rather than actually rubbed deep in.
