    how do you

    if youve got a dj set that you want to put on to cd but is longer than 80 mins how the fuck can you do it is it possible or not?? every time i try in windows media plaer always say will not fit
    and i havent seen any blank disks longer than 80 mins

    You can get 100-min cd's, but they don't work in all burners and won't play in all players neither. Just split the set to two cd's if you have to. :up:

    You'll need a sound editor of some description like Nero Wave Editor or Wavelab (? I think), it's not something I've done too often but there's loads of peeps on this board that will know how :up:

    just search for mp3 splitter on google - theres tons.

    If its a wav file - just search got....u got it....wav splitter

    Thats why you should keep mixes to no longer than 80 mins when making a CD :p

    it is possible to overburn cds with progs like nero (some cds are like tapes and have more than the specified capacity).

    However this is extremely risky and can leave you with a damaged CD or writer so not really worth doing, as all you get is an extra five mins tops.

    Like Sleepy said - split it, or if you have a cd player that can play mp3cds (most DVD players and some personal cd players can do this) just burn it as a data cd and drag/drop the MP3 or WMA onto the cd that way.
