Hotels in Amsterdam Anybody know any half decent hotels in the Dam in a good location? Going over at the weekend as I have a meeting on Monday, and due to KLM's extortionate day return rates the boss has said I can just make a weekend of it at company expense. (nightmare...) As usual I get to book my own hotel so 4 stars is the obvious choice, i suppose Dam square is where I want to be yeah?
If you haven't booked the one you've found yet, give this site a try... We always book through them. You don't need to pay a deposit and you just settle the balance on arrival/departure.

As soon as you walk out of Central Station you'll see a load of cruise/river tour boats docked. Walk down the Damrak (where all the trams go along) and it's just on the left about 100 metres from the entrance of Central Station
