Probably nothing this year - will be spending free time and money on the house that we're hopefully buying. Plus saving for getting married at the end of next year.

    Turkey with work in March
Hong Kong with work in April
Then possibly Pukkelpop in Belgium in the summer, followed by Ljubiana in Slovenia for my birthday in September.

Do you know much about Bucharest? Fancy an eastern European weekend away later in the year

Only from what I've read mate. It sounds pretty amazing, loads of grand palaces mixed in with communist buildings.

Apparently the bar/club scene is pretty impressive too, and flights were only £70 return.

It just makes a change from the usual haunts like Prague etc (which I admittedly liked)

I'll let you know what it's like when I'm back.

Yeah I went in April a few years ago. It was really really cold but quite good. The lake was nice and went on a trip to Chamonix in France to go up Mont Blanc which Id recommend. The mountains blew me away. The tram system is easy. Shops were decent too if I remember rightly. Very scenic, not very cheap but nice.

Thanks! I'm thinking of going mid august for my Honeymoon. Just for a couple of nights. I had heard it was pricey, but that is outweighed by the scenery.

I'd look into the France suggestion but cannot stand the French!

Got absolutely no idea ..... Was planning on giving up work for a while in summer and spending 4-6 months travelling this year.... but that has fallen by the wayside ;)

I wouldnt mind seeing some more of Asia this year ..... Or Dubai or something.

Sofa's, beds and furniture is taking priority at the moment
