Hip Hop Seeing as we've had a ''drum n bass'' thread, thought I'd do one for hip hop too. Anyone like it? Not stuff like Eminem and Dre, but decent stuff like Jurassic 5, Roots Manuva, Tribe Called Quest, Blackalicious etc. Hip hop's my favourite type of music, bar none. :chill: :groovy:
I like Hip Hop, not hugely into it, but see myself gettin into it more n more.... Jurassic 5 are alright... Watchin 8 Miles made me like it more
like old school stuff: tribe called quest gang starr run dmc public enemy de la soul pharcyde roots krs 1 das efx chubb rock nwa etc. but biggest love is british stuff roots manuva skinnyman london posse rodney p lewis parker braintax task force 3 wise men gutterrsnipes riddla etc.
I love Taskforce too. U heard much Louis Slippaz, he's a taskforce DJ and plays stuff like Rodney P, Roots Manuva, Phi-Life Cypher etc. I'll copy you one if u want cos it's absolutely awesome. Currently listening to a lot of US kind of experimental, underground hip hop, like Cannibal Ox, Boom Bip and Dose One. Well into the French scene as well, Saian Supa Crew, TTC etc
not really into it anymore, but still listen to a bit. And as my mate is well into it i here all the stuff he listens to... Rodney P Blak Twang Braintax Phi Life Cypher Smutt Peddlers has anyone listened to Necro before?? some well mad tunes, he makes eminems lyrics look very tame.
