help ok i left my computer on and when ive come back the screen is totally blank and is a little window with c:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe and a box to click ok but when i click on nothin happens it just comes up as a totally blank screen ive shut down and restarted it in normal and safe mode and the same thing happens is nothin ther at all. hav only been able to get internet up through task manager as must hav been the last thing i used???? i dunno wots wrong and dunno how to fix it i got rid of all my spyware stuff and viruses
Have you got your original Windows CD? If so it's system repair/recovery time. Insert the CD and switch the machine on. If it says "Press any key to continue" then do so. Follow the steps here and hopefully it should overwrite the damaged files on your disk (by the looks of things explorer.exe). Then when you are back up, go to housecall.antivirus.com and perform a full scan on your system.
