Help my desktop background has disappeared and is now just a blue screen with the following message in the centre; security warning a fatal error in IE has occured at 0028:C0011E36 in VXD VMM(01) + 00010E36. error was caused by trojan-spy.HTML.smitfraud.c * system can not function in normal mode please check your security settings *scan your pc with any available antivirus/spyware remover program to fix the problem :wtf: help please jon
What version of Windows are you running? Have you updated and ran your virus scanner recently? Have you tried using http://housecall.trendmicro.com and http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan? Have you downloaded, updated and ran adaware, spybot and MS Antispyware? If not, do all of those first, I know other ways of getting rid of it but I don't want to be typing huge spiels when early versions of wp.exe are fixed by most anti-spyware and av programs.
running windows XP run norton antivirus 2day, spyware doctor and some random spyware remover, they couldnt detect anything i'll look into those u suggested
