Help Please Anyone know where I could sell an old jukebox to? Had it for a few month due to a bereavement and it is collecting dust and I have no room for it plus I think it is worth a few bob!
Re: Re: Help Please that 1 isnt a picture of the one ive got mines not as dirty as that like! Mite give it ago on eBay like see what happens
Ive just realised its not it is the same apart from it hasnt got the top bit on it & its not called a deluxe just a rockola capri ii
had a quick look on the net and they seem to be quite collectable. might wanna give cash in the attic a ring first.
needs a little look at, everything works but the needle isn't set properly i think as when it puts down a record the needle comes down halfway through the track, nothing major tho as it has been fully working in the last few years
I cant find anything theres a run down one on ebay.com in america thats only goin for $120 at the minute although it has 5 days left! I rang around a few dealers (jukebox dealers that is) a few month back from around the UK but they all wanted extortinate prices for coming up to view it like £40 an hour from when they leave! Could be worth nothing but don't want to be sitting here with a unused jukebox that could be sold and could possibly fund a new pioneer setup!
have a look here its a 1964 model i think i love the old jukeboxes. theres some footage on youtube of the capri 2 but i cannot view it at work. u might be able to see it here was gonna offer u a 10er for it and hope i' dpulled a fast one
I have emailed that guy already, shows how much of a small market it is! The one in the youtube video is exactly the same as mine! Obviously needing a bit of restoration tho!
Ive posted a little ad on there but might get a professional in to have look, when recieving quotes a few month back it varied from £200 - £2000 so looks like I am gonna need a bit of help! Thanks anyway for the help! If anyone finds anything else please let me know!
that one on the video with the little green bag tune on has a stanton pro S cart on it bizarree, wouldent of thought it would of fit on such an old device
