    Help Please!!

I've been mixing for about 12 months now and my current mixer has outlived its usefulness. Could any DJ's out there recommend what they think is the best mixer available under £400, or whats worth a look. I mainly play hard trance, with a sideline in Funky House. Any ideas would be greatly welcome.

The best makes to plump up for would be either Vestax or Allen & Heath. + 400 quid should get you some wicked kit for home use (and it'll last).

Don't let anyone else persude you to try any other make, they often have major drawbacks or are of a poorer quality. You don't always get what you pay for.

and (the same applys for turntables) avoid gimmicks like samplers, bpm counters or loads of eq's they more often than not work poorly/ hardly ever get used. If you need extras, buy them separately + plus that way if they fuck up, your mixer isn't shagged.
